DRESS CODE:

HAIR IN A BUN  FOR ALL STYLES

o BALLET 

Leotard of any colour, ballet socks/ tights, and pink or black canvas or satin ballet shoes. 

Correct stockists for ballet shoes stated below. (Please do NOT buy ballet shoes at Mr. Price Sport)

Skirts, wraps, short ski-pants over tights are allowed but the knees and ankles must always be visible.  

For Grades 1 - 5: Character Shoes and Skirt. If the correct size is not available for use at the studio, parents must purchase their child's character skirt and shoes.  

For Grades 4 and up: Pointe Shoes to be purchased when readiness is indicated by the teacher.

o MODERN

Exam attire (black, sleeveless all-in-one) can be worn for class, or any type of appropriate form-fitting and stretchable dance wear such as jazz pants, leotards, unitards (all-in-one), ski-pants, form-fitting t-shirts. Socks or 'dance paws' for barre work if preferred. No skirts. 

o TAP

Same as modern, and tap shoes. If the correct size shoe is not available at the studio to use, parents must purchase their own child's shoes.  Only lace-up shoes with SOLID taps, not jingle.
